Indians have their chances but give up 40-23 loss to Sanderson

FORT DAVIS - An outstanding defensive game by senior Quentin Mathes and some of the best running of the young season by Hunter Hurley were not enough for the Fort Davis Indians to overcome mistakes and a Sanderson Eagle team that took home a 40-23 win over Fort Davis on homecoming night. The Eagles went to 3-0 on the year while Fort Davis remains winless at 0-4 going to the 3-1 Balmorhea Bears Friday night at 7:30. The Bears beat El Paso Faith Christian 64-14 Friday.
