Luisa Rodriguez, 90, buried here Wednesday

FORT DAVIS – Luisa Granado Rodriguez 90, died Oct. 11, 2013. Rosary was recited Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Davis. Funeral mass was Oct. 16 at the church with Father Miguel Alcuino officiating. Burial followed the mass in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons. Funeral services entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton. She was born on June 15, 1923, in Loving, NM, to Julia Lozano and Chon Granado. She married the late Ramon Rodriguez on Nov. 21, 1937, in Fort Davis and was married for 32 years. She was a member of the Catholic church and a longtime resident of Fort Davis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Rodriguez; parents Chon and Juliana Granado; common law spouse Cuco Galindo for 32 years; son Antonio Rodriguez, daughters Mary Vega, Phyllis Vasquez and Percy Kratch. She is survived by her sons Ramon Rodriguez of Munford, AL., Benjamin Rodriguez and Rudolpho Rodriguez both of Menifee, CA; two brothers, Chon Granado Jr. and Ricardo Granado both of Fort Davis, two sisters, Maria Dutchover of Fort Davis and Cindy Urias of Midland, 19 grandchildren; 36 great -grandchildren ; six great- great -grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
