Consistency still hurting Indians' chances

FORT DAVIS - Inconsistent shooting has been the problem for the Fort Davis Indians all season - guys score 20 one game and four the next. and last Friday was a good example - the Indians couldn't buy a bucket off and on all night and Balmorhea took advantage, whipping the Indians 44-36. Lalito Hernandez was the most consistent of the Indians, finishing with 14 while Julian Lara added a dozen. With Cesar Chavez sidelined, it was a one-shot night for the Indians, who just moved out of the way of the Bears' big post players, mainly Joshua Matta who took over inside and scored 11 for the Bears.
