Switchin' Flies

bought a new TV. That's probably not news to most people, but I'm a very old lady and never have owned one before in my life. So it's new to me. As a freshly minted retiree, I'm still adjusting to my life of leisure. I find plenty to do during the day, but after supper, when I usually graded papers or read for the next day's class, I find myself sort of staring at the spider webs and waiting for bedtime. Eventually I asked myself, what do normal people do in the evening? So I plunked down some cash and the installation guys handed me a  remote. Yikes! I always handed those scary things full of buttons to a student when I needed to show a movie or something in class.
