Indians dominate cross country meet despite . . .

MARFA - For the second time in the past six months, Fort Davis has competed in sports that because of cuts in state funds have been dropped due to the lack of dollars. Despite the loss of program funding, the tennis program mopped up the district last spring and sent a team on to Austin to win a state girls doubles championship. And this past week, the Indian cross country teams totally dominated the district cross country meet, going up against programs that are funded by the school district they competed with at the meet in Marfa.
