Tyler remains unbeaten with blowout of Lobos

Down 32-31 at the break U.T. Tyler used a 40- point attack in the second half to defeat the Sul Ross Lady Lobos, 71-55 in ASC competition Saturday at the Herrington Patriot Center.

Indian junior high opens with a split

The Fort Davis junior high Indians opened their season this week, the boys winning handily 39-7 and the girls losing a close one 19-13.Damientercero scored 11 to pace the boys in their win over sierra Blanca followed by eight from Jack Lampher and six each from Shadix Wetzel and Ruben Gallegos.

Slim pickins for Fort Davis when all district is selected

FORT DAVIS - Winning has its advantages - one of them being dominance of the all district football team. Garden City and Rankin dominated the mythical all star team, with Marfa getting a pretty good shake as well.

Indian girIs in toumey action in Monahans; boys going to Marfa

FORT DA VIS -Both varsity Fort Davis teams opened the 2016 basketball season - both losing to Van Horn. In the girls game, Hadley McIvor came off a successful volleyball season and was in mid-season form scoring 26 against the Eagles, despite the Van Horn 57-38 win.

Indians dominate volleyball all star team with all the top MVP awards

FORT DAVIS - As expected the Fort Davis Indians dominated the all district team the same way they dominated the regular season. Junior Hadley Mclvor was an easy choice for Most Valuable Player, leading the Indians to a perfect district mark - undefeated and losing only a couple of games as they won all of their matches in the district.

THE COACHES: Trust, Drive to Win...

Geary High School athletes are in great company under the leadership of men who have trust among each other, and a desire to win. But coaching high school boys isn’t about the coaches, its being a friend, mentor, and an excitement this town hasn’t seen. “This season has shown me so much, I have grew as a coach and as a person,” said head coach Steven Wilson, now in his second year.

One down!! STRONG SECOND HALF ADVANCES BISON TO SECOND ROUND

Just a week after suffering their first loss of the 2015 season, the Geary Bison varsity football team was back to its winning ways in the first round of the Oklahoma Class-B playoffs, as the Bison defeated the Turpin High School Cardinal by a final score of 70-52, in Geary, on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015. The Bison offense was firing on all cylinders last Friday night as they relied on a trio of play-makers in junior running back Ross Shawnee, junior quarterback Haden Glasgow and senior Pete Evans, whom together accounted for nine of the ten touchdowns the Bison scored.

Indians end season with 67-65 heartbreaker; go 5-5 on year

FORT DAVIS - It wasn't the best game of the year for the Fort Davis Indians, but for Indian fans it had to be as much fun as they could have asked for - of course, had the Indians won it would have been even better.
