Services on Saturday for Anita Mae Oliver

SAN ANGELO ~ On May 11, 2014, Anita Mae Oliver died in her sleep on Mother's Day. Called "Mom" by just about everyone, she was a wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and a great-great grandmother and so much more. For all of her 99 years she was a gift, a blessing and a wonder to her family. Her family will cherish her memory and tell and retell all her "life stories" so that all future generations will know what it is to "Trot Trot to Boston to Buy Some Bread". Mom was always there for her family, full of love, warmth and comfort. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed. She was born on May 3, 1915. She is preceded in death by her husband Max Oliver who died in 1994,and her daughter, Maxine Oliver Mitchell who died in July of 2000, great -grandson Colin Buren who died in 2004. She is survived by her son-in-law, Hayes Mitchell of Marfa, her granddaughters and their families, Marla Buren of Fort Worth, Debbie and Ellery Aufdengarten of Fort Davis, and Laurie and Brad Mund of Wall; greatgranddaughters Megan Yadon of Fort Worth, Kaki and Mark Scott of Marfa, Jon Buren of Oakland, CA, Casey and Menda Mund of Wall, Mitch Aufdengarten of Marfa, Brice and Callie Mund of Brenham, and Gerry Aufdengarten of Fort Davis; and six great- great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m., May 24 at the Brethren Church in Wall. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., May 25 at Balmorhea Cemetery in Balmorhea.
